INSTRUCTOR
Jeff Lavoie is CAPS certified and in qualified by the NAHB to CAPS 1,2 & 3. Jeff also holds the credentials to teach Business Management for Building professionals. Jeff has diverse background in construction and the medical field.
Jeff grew up in a construction family and worked in his family’s business since he was 8 years old. He also worked for a local homebuilder all through and after high school. Jeff also worked as a framer before joining the US Army in 1982. While in the Army he attended Combat Medic School and ended up going to the Army Nursing school at Ft. Bragg NC.
After his commitment to the Army was completed in 1987, he worked for a local Custom rehab supplier. He designed, built and sold very custom wheelchairs. While working on wheelchairs Jeff realized there was a need for accessibility construction, lifts and elevators for the home. In April of 1996, Jeff founded All-Ways Accessible Inc. (AWA). AWA started as a full accessible remodeling company along with a complete line of lifts and elevators. As time passed, AWA evolved into just elevators and lifts. AWA is the leader in its field in Northern New England. In May of 2021 AWA was sold to National Seating and Mobility out of TN.
Jeff remains in contact with his old staff and likes teaching what he has learned to anyone with a desire to learn.
